Dr Akeem Ali Dr Akeem Ali is Surrey's Director of Public Health. His role is a joint appointment with Surrey County Council. Dr Ali was previously Director of Public Health for NHS Herefordshire, and has held a range of senior public health positions in the NHS and abroad, working with the Ministry of Health in Ghana and later with an international health charity. |

Maggie Ioannou, MSC. BA. RGN. RSCN. RHV Maggie is interim Director of Nursing, Quality and Safety. Maggie is a qualified nurse and health visitor and has worked in a variety of roles with families and children. Over the last 10 years she has undertaken senior leadership roles with Board level accountability for quality, patient experience, community services, safeguarding and infection control. |

Rodney Gritten Rodney Gritten had a 33 year career in industrial financial management and international corporate banking, where he specialised in client relationship management, before moving into the not for profit and voluntary sectors in October 2000 to undertake governance responsibilities. An Economist with a Masters Degree from London Business School, he holds a number of non-executive and trustee positions including with the national charity Independent Age, which is now the managing trustee for Counsel and Care for the Elderly, and which together offer a wide range of advice and information and befriending services for elderly people. He is Chairman of the Quality and Performance Committee and the Charitable Funds Committee. |

Ghislaine Watson-Hopkinson Ghislaine began her working life as a nurse progressing to sister before re-qualifying as a barrister in 1991. She currently works for the Crown Prosecution Service in Hampshire. Ghislaine is Chair of the Pharmaceutical Regulations Panel and a member of the Performance Reference Group and Equality & Diversity Steering Group. |

Dr Jonathan Morgan Dr Jonathan Morgan has over 20 years experience in the energy and utilities industries gained principally with PowerGen plc and Britoil plc. By training a geologist, he worked in a wide variety of commercial and general management roles, latterly as Managing Director of PowerGen (North Sea) Limited. He has experience in venture capital and is a former Research Fellow of the University of Surrey. Jonathan participates in National Cancer Peer Review and serves on the Trusts’ Audit, Transition Assurance and Remuneration Committees. |

Graham Hanson Graham has UK and International experience of managing IT related businesses. He has specialist skills and senior management experience in strategy, planning, governance and marketing as well as general management. Until recent retirement he was the Vice-President of Transformation and System for BT Group Procurement, responsible for managing a major strategic transformation programme with the aim of evolving BT’s procurement function towards a world class benchmarked capability. |

Peter Gordon Peter joined NHS Surrey in September 2011. He has been one of the Independent Lay Members in Surrey Community Health. He is currently Non Executive Chairman of Surrey Community Action and holds Non Executive Directorships of Surrey Lifelong learning Partnership and Surrey Economic Partnership. He was previously Non Executive Chairman of Business Link Surrey.
